Booking and confirmation

Solängens Lillstuga is booked by enquiry only. You send an enquiry for the dates you would like, I read it personally and reply to you. If I accept your enquiry, you are invited to make payment. The booking is confirmed once full payment has been received.

Payment

Once an enquiry has been accepted, the full rental price and a refundable security deposit are payable to confirm the booking. The standard refundable security deposit is SEK 2,000. If a different security deposit is stated in your booking offer, the amount in the booking offer applies.

Cleaning

Guests are responsible for cleaning the cottage before departure and leaving it in the same good condition as on arrival.

Bed linen and towels

Guests bring their own bed linen and towels.

Cancellation

If you cancel 60 days or more before arrival, the rental price is refunded, less a cancellation fee of SEK 1,000.

If you cancel less than 60 days before arrival, the rental price is non-refundable.

The security deposit is always refunded in full if the stay is cancelled.

Rebooking of cancelled dates

If I am able to rebook the cancelled dates, I will refund the amount received from the replacement booking, up to the amount originally paid for the rental.

Security deposit

A refundable security deposit is paid together with the rental price. The standard refundable security deposit is SEK 2,000. If a different security deposit is stated in your booking offer, the amount in the booking offer applies.

The security deposit is refunded after departure, normally within 7 days, once the cottage has been checked and provided it has been left in good condition.

The security deposit may be used to cover reasonable costs resulting from damage, missing items or insufficient cleaning.

The security deposit does not limit the guest's responsibility for damage for which they are liable.

Bookings are personal

The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and must be one of the guests staying at the cottage for the duration of the stay.

Bookings cannot be made on behalf of someone else or transferred to another guest.

House rules

Parties and events are not permitted, and the cottage is not rented to youth groups.

Smoking is not permitted indoors.

Pets are not allowed.

Please remove outdoor shoes inside the cottage.

Please keep noise to a minimum after 23:00.

Charging electric vehicles from the property is not permitted.

Arrival and departure

Check-in from 16:00.

Check-out by 10:00.

Damage and problems during your stay

Guests are responsible for damage they cause to the cottage, its contents or the property.

Please let me know as soon as possible if anything is damaged, broken or not working properly during your stay, so that I have the opportunity to deal with it promptly.

Insurance

Guests are responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate insurance cover for their stay, including personal liability and cancellation cover.

Guests remain responsible for any damage for which they are liable, regardless of the amount of the security deposit.
